Wells Fargo's plan to sell longtime San Francisco home stokes speculation about future HQ

Wells Fargo fueled speculation that its headquarters could be moving out of California with this week’s news that the bank will vacate and sell its longtime San Francisco home. The bank has reaffirmed its commitment to keep its HQ in San Francisco but the decision has been raising eyebrows, especially because Wells has a major campus under construction outside Dallas.
