UT Southwestern, Parkland bring effort to expand clinical trial access to Dallas

Dallas was one of two Texas cities recently selected by the Equitable Breakthroughs in Medicine Development partnership to create local clinical trial sites to serve underrepresented patient groups. The partnership is intended to address mistrust and hesitancy experienced by underserved groups as well as reduce barriers and integrate bilingual community health workers and navigators in the implementation of clinical trials for various diseases and illnesses.
