Manufacturing Firms in the Austin area

The 2024 list of manufacturers has hit a new threshold with 25 firms reporting over 100K square feet of operations in the Austin area. Some of the newcomers this year include US Farathane, ZT Systems, Valex Corp. and Noveon Magnetics. At No. 8, contract manufacturer US Farathane is now a local heavy weight with two locations totaling over 750,000 s.f. and employing 765 people. Its newest location in Georgetown is over 400,000 s.f. and recently opened at GTX Logistics Park. Overall, manufacturers listed include a broad spectrum of industries. The list is open to firms that make their own products as well as those providing contract services. Data for the list is gathered through ABJ surveys, previous lists, news stories and company websites. Austin area covers Travis, Williamson, Hays, Bastrop, Burnet and Caldwell counties.
