Largest tech employers in the Austin area

The 2025 list of tech employers represents over 116,000 workers at 73 companies. Tech companies listed provide proprietary technology that change the way business is done. Information for the list is gathered from ABJ surveys to company representatives, news coverage and company websites. ABJ considers companies eligible if headcounts have been updated within the past year. A few of Austin's tech giants will not disclose local counts so estimates are used based upon available data. The Austin area includes Travis, Williamson, Hays, Bastrop, Burnet and Caldwell counties.
