Retail heavy hitters leased more in 2024 than previous couple of years. The top 25 listmakers are credited with leasing a combined total of 3.2 million retail square feet during 2024. This is up from 2.4 million square feet leased in 2023 and 2.6 millions leased in 2022. In all, 35 heavy hitters are included in the 2025 online list for this category with a threshold of 10,000 s.f. Information for the 2025 Heavy Hitters lists was supplied by brokerage representatives through a nomination form. Only retail transactions closed in the Austin area during 2024 are considered for this category and may not include all activity for the broker or agent.
