Five broker-dealer investment mangement firms in the Austin area

The five broker-dealer investment management firms represented on the 2025 list took care of $62 billion assets under management last year. The 2025 list of broker-dealer firms handling investment management services is open to firms with offices in the Austin area. The list is ranked by broker-dealer assets under management as of December 31, 2024. To be eligible, firms must be a registered broker-dealer with the SEC or the State of Texas, depending on the amount of assets managed. Participants must be able to disclose ranking criteria of assets under management (AUM) for the Austin office. Firms that work under another firm's broker dealer registration are not eligible for this list. Information is gathered via ABJ surveys sent to company representatives. Only firms that respond to requests for information are considered. Austin area includes Travis, Williamson, Hays, Bastrop and Caldwell counties.
