Austin aims to jumpstart small-scale housing projects with rule changes

Faster and cheaper — that's what city officials aim to do with the homebuilding process. The new regulations are set to take effect in May and are aimed at complementing the recently passed HOME Initiative to foster more and less expensive housing in the city.
