Arlington's Kito Crosby fetches $2.7B in buyout

An East Coast company has revealed plans to buy North Texas-based Kito Crosby, which makes lifting and securement products such as cranes, hoists and shackles. Kito Crosby is currently owned by funds managed by global investment firm KKR and has nearly 4,000 employees worldwide and several manufacturing plants.
