$40M hotel on Texas State University's campus gets initial approval for incentives

Developers on July 1 were approved on first reading for an estimated $9.1 million in incentives for the minimum 130-key, full-service hotel at 429 N. Guadalupe St. on the Texas State University campus. It would also have an event lawn and amphitheater, restaurant, bar and meeting and event space. The incentives agreement requires a second reading to pass.
